Use this easy 10 minute makeup routine if you are a busy girl trying to grow your empire in your 20s and need to get out of the house looking dolled up
This easy makeup routine can be done 10 minutes or less. A step by step natural everyday makeup routine designed for busy mornings when you want to look flawless without having to do a full glam.
We all know how mornings can sometimes be chaotic especially for my 9-5 girlies and you have zero patience for a complicated full makeup routine. This quick daily makeup routine gives you the right steps, makeup tools and products to help you get out of the house feeling confident.
Easy 10 Minute Makeup Routine Steps
Step 1: Moisturize
Moisturizing is non-negotiable. A good moisturizer hydrates your skin, smooths texture and helps makeup sit better instead of clinging to dry patches. We oily skin girls also need moisture but choose a lightweight formula to prevent looking greasy during the day. Moisturizing is the first step in your natural everyday makeup routine as this will also help the makeup last long
Step 2: Sunscreen
It protects your skin from sun damage, premature aging and prevent further darkening of dark spots. And yes you need to incorporate a sunscreen of SPF 50 even with makeup on, don’t depend on the SPF added on these foundations.
Choose a sunscreen that blends easily with no white patches and also a sunscreen that matches well with your moisturizer of choice.
Step 3: Primer
Primer helps your makeup last longer and look smoother, but the key is choosing one for your skin type.
- Oily skin: Go for a mattifying primer to control shine. Apply it on the areas you get oily.
- Dry skin: A hydrating primer adds glow and prevents makeup from cracking.
- Combination skin: Use a balancing or pore-blurring primer where needed.
This step makes your basic everyday makeup last through the day without constant touch-ups.
Step 4: Brows
Brows truly change everything. Doing your eyebrows help frame your face so let me show you a quick way to get them done.
Using a brow lift (brow gel); comb through your groomed brows upwards, set (press the hairs to your skin), to give your brows that soft lifted look without overdoing them. Then take your spoolie and shape the top part and finally grab a cotton pad or wipes and clean out the excess brow gel around the brow area before concealing your eyebrows.
Use a concealer that matches your skin tone or close enough to your skin tone on the bottom part of your brows and the foundation you are going to use on the top part to outline the eyebrows and blend them out

Step 5: Foundation
Apply your foundation all over the face. Use a full coverage long lasting foundation, quality foundation that will get you through the day without looking oily especially for oily skin girlies. Apply the foundation with a beauty sponge this makes you have a flawless application and it blends faster than a foundation brush

Step 6: Under-Eye Powder
Gently press a loose finishing powder that is slightly bright than your skin tone under the eyes to set the foundation and on the eyelids to set the concealer you used to outline the bottom part of your eyebrows. This step helps you achieve that brightening effect without having to use a concealer, prevents creasing of the foundation and creates a smooth base for eyeshadow. Press it in using your powder puff

Step 7: Eyeshadow
Choose an eyeshadow close to your skin tone for the lids to keep things natural and polished. Add a touch of shimmer to the tear duct for that feminine glow. It is a subtle way to make your eyes pop instantly and bring just the right amount of drama to your look. A yellow goldish shimmer eyeshadow does it all the time for me.
Step 8: Pressed Powder
Set your foundation with a pressed powder using a dense brush. This helps your makeup last longer and the dense brush picks the right amount of powder to do just that.

Step 9: Bronzer or Contour
Sweep bronzer or contour powder using a tapered powder brush along your cheekbones to add warmth and gentle definition. Keep it blended and natural, this step will help you not look flat because so far we have only applied foundation to our face. This makeup step gives your face a nice definition.
Step 10: Mascara
Go for a lengthening and volume mascara to help define your eyes. If you have your lashes done then well and good but for the girlies with 10 minutes for makeup I don’t think its a bright idea to start putting on lashes, you do not want your lashes to start lifting during the day due to bad installation.
Step 11: Lips
Apply a juicy lip gloss, nourishing lip oil, a soft matte lipstick or a bold red matte lipstick. Choose what feels like you that day. Lips add personality and complete your look in seconds.

Step 12: Setting Spray
Finish with a setting spray to melt all the layers together and lock your makeup in place. It gives that skin-like finish and keeps your easy 10 minute makeup routine looking beautiful all day. Choose a nice setting spray that works for your skin type and a quality spray proven to work that will help your basic everyday makeup last all day.
Conclusion
Follow these easy steps for a natural everyday makeup look. This steps also require quality product that will last throughout the day. Choose quality makeup products that will not require you to do a lot of touchups during the day. This quick daily makeup routine is about choosing ease in your busy mornings. It’s the kind of natural everyday makeup that works with your real life when time is short but you still want to feel like yourself and walk out of the house confident.
